PETERBILT CABOVERS
The 362 Series

The 362 replaced the 352 Pacemaker series in 1980. Taller cabs, roomier interiors, rounded doors, smoother quieter rides and modern styling. The 362 was The Cabover of it's time.
The 362 remained in production until August of 2005, the last unit being a heavy-spec'd oil field unit.
362E was a version that featured a lower doghouse, lower cab, large easy-entry steps, and had the look of the traditional Unilite or Pacemaker cabover.
In the late 80's the aerodynamic 372 was designed. A radical change style-wise for Peterbilt. The 372 was quite different, but very efficient. Unique features such as a swing up "hood" when the cab was tilted. Looking at a 372 from it's profile, the truck is quite beautiful (remember, I like cabovers). The front, well, I'll reserve comment.
